Vincent Persichetti


As Director, Cybersecurity Programs for the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce & EDC, Persichetti manages a grant, as a sub-recipient, from the Department of Defense’s Office of Economic Adjustment.  The grant is focused on supporting the regions sizable transitioning military force, an economic analysis of the region’s cybersecurity ecosystem and the development of a strategic plan to grow the regions cybersecurity capabilities while assisting defense contractors to diversify and gain resilience within their operations.  In this capacity, Persichetti works closely with Pikes Peak Community College, the grant’s recipient, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and the National Cybersecurity Center.

Persichetti (Chief Master Sergeant, U.S. Air Force, Retired) served 30 years in the U.S. Air Force in both the administrative and communications fields. He moved to Colorado Springs in January 2006, through an assignment to the Operations Directorate of HQ Air Force Space Command at Peterson Air Force Base.  In August 2010 he was selected to serve as Superintendent, Communications Directorate for the Combined Forces Special Operations Component Command at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.  Persichetti returned to Peterson Air Force Base in August 2011 and was assigned to the Communications Directorate, HQ Air Force Space Command.

Persichetti’s final assignment was with the 21st Space Wing, serving as the 21st Mission Support Group Superintendent. A key element of that role involved being a senior advisor to the commander on installation support across a diverse area including communications, civil engineering, contracting, logistics, security forces and force support. Prior to his final assignment, he was the 21st Communications Squadron Superintendent, charged with advising the commander on all aspects of personnel and mission execution across the spectrum of communications and cyber support.
